Bridging Leaders Co-creation Hub Guidelines

Goal:
Our Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub program is dedicated to fostering community empowerment and sustainable development through the practice and promotion of Bridging Leadership. We aim to nurture leaders who can bridge divides, create inclusive dialogues, and drive systemic change to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the community level.

1. Organizational Structure

A. Hub Leadership Team:

• Hub Overseers: A group of 3-5 individuals who oversee all Hub activities, liaises with stakeholders, and ensures alignment with the organization's mission.

• Coordinator for Learning and Development: Coordinates development of BL Circles, educational programs and workshops.

• Coordinator for Partnerships: Manages relationships with community stakeholders and partners.

• Coordinator for Collaboration: Facilitates cooperation with other Hubs and larger-scale initiatives.

B. Committees

• BL Circle Growth Committee: Oversees BL Circle learning and replication. Organizes and executes learning activities, workshops, and training sessions.

• Partnerships Committee: Identifies and nurtures potential partnerships, manages ongoing collaborations.

• Collaboration Committee: Coordinates with other Hubs and external organizations for joint projects.

2. Learning Activities

A. Objectives:

• Equip community members with Bridging Leadership techniques.

• Foster an inclusive environment for shared learning.

• Promote continuous personal and professional development.

B. BL Circle Activities:

• BL Circle Learning Sessions: 60-90 minute group learning sessions in groups of 3-8 members. BL Circles are to be led by individuals who have reviewed the Facilitator's Guidelines. Session Guides can be downloaded here. Role-playing scenarios, problem-solving exercises, and real-world project simulations. 

• Workshops and Seminars: Monthly sessions on Bridging Leadership fundamentals, advanced techniques, and practical applications.

• Guest Lectures: Inviting experienced leaders and experts to share insights and experiences.

C. Evaluation:

• Regular feedback from participants to improve program quality.

• Pre- and post-event surveys to measure learning outcomes.

3. Co-Creating Long-Term Partnerships

A. Partnership Goals:

• Co-create initiatives to advance barangay, municipal, city, provincial, regional, and global SDGs.

• Leverage diverse resources and expertise.

• Drive sustainable community impact.

B. Partnership Process:

• Identification: Research and identify potential partners aligned with our mission and values.

• Engagement: Approach and initiate discussions with potential partners.

• Co-Creation: Develop joint initiatives, clearly define roles, responsibilities, and goals.

• Implementation: Launch and manage collaborative projects.

• Evaluation: Monitor and assess the impact of partnerships, making necessary adjustments.

C. Potential Partners:

• Local governments and municipal bodies.

• Non-profit organizations and community groups.

• Educational institutions and research organizations.

• Private sector companies committed to corporate social responsibility.

4. Collaboration with Other Hubs

A. Collaboration Goals:

• Share knowledge, resources, and best practices.

• Amplify impact through joint initiatives.

• Build a strong network of Bridging Leaders.

B. Collaborative Activities:

• Inter-Hub Meetings: Regular meetings with representatives from other Hubs to discuss joint projects and initiatives.

• Regional Conferences: Organize and participate in regional events to foster larger-scale dialogue and action.

• Shared Resources: Develop a repository of resources, tools, and materials accessible to all Hubs.

• Joint Projects: Initiate and manage projects that span multiple communities or regions.

C. Communication:

• Establish a robust communication platform (e.g., online forums, monthly newsletters) to ensure seamless information flow.

• Use technology (video conferencing, collaborative tools) to bridge geographical gaps.

5. Governance and Ethics

A. Governance:

• Adhere to a structured governance model with defined roles and responsibilities.

• Ensure transparency in decision-making processes.

B. Code of Ethics:

• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and respect.

• Foster an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment.

• Commit to continuous improvement and learning.

C. Reporting:

• Regularly report on activities, progress, and financial status to Hub members and stakeholders.

• Conduct annual reviews to assess the Hub’s impact and identify areas for growth.

The undersigned applicant Hub hereby applies for membership in the Bridging Leadership Institute and requests permission to organize a Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub in:

It is understood that such permission, when granted, will give this group the right to use the name, procedures, and materials of the Bridging Leadership Institute as a provisional Hub for twelve (12) months from the date received by the Bridging Leadership Institute Headquarters.

It is agreed that the right to use the Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub emblem, the name Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub, or Bridging Leadership shall be conditioned upon permission for such use being granted by the Bridging Leadership Institute. 

Products downloadable from our website, www.bridgingleadershipinstitute.com, are authorized products for use in an effort to promote the Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub. Such use shall be discontinued if the Charter is not granted, or if the applicant Hub shall be required to do so at any time in the future, for cause, as deemed by the Bridging Leadership Institute. 

Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hubs agree they must not use the trademarked and copyrighted materials of other entities in any way without express written permission from the owner. This includes, but is not limited to, use in the Hub’s name, Hub’s domain name, or other materials or publications. Once a Charter is granted, the Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub emblem, the name Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub or Bridging Leadership may be used with permission from the Trademarks team.

A minimum number of 7 individuals are required to charter a Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub, 4 of whom cannot belong to another Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub.*

Hub officers must take necessary measures to ensure their Hub and members are in compliance with policies set by the relevant authorities.

All Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hubs must meet the following minimum requirements: meet at least twelve (12) times per year; have members participate in learning activities and practice sessions; and provide members the opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills.

Membership in a Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub is open to all who are interested in developing their leadership skills and/or working on community-development initiatives. No person shall be excluded from membership in a Bridging Leadership Institute Hub, and no member shall be deliberately discriminated against in the conduct of official Bridging Leadership Institute programs because of age (except those persons under 12 years of age), race, color, creed, gender, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or physical or mental disability, so long as the individual, through his or her own efforts, is able to participate in the program.

If granted, the charter and membership may be revoked by the Bridging Leadership Institute for cause, including but not restricted to: conduct unbecoming a Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub; failure to remain in good standing with the Bridging Leadership Co-creation Hub; or abandonment of the Charter and membership by the applicant Hub.

As Hub Coordinator and on behalf of the applicant Hub, I agree to the terms and conditions listed above.
